Intentions are purposeful statement or wish that one means to carry out, determining mentally upon a specific action with a desired end result, an unbroken commitment, a resolution. Yet, just having “good” intentions is not enough. Sometimes we need a wake-up call to provoke action and get our attention, to make that connection to find balance and happiness in our lives.
These days, we entrants of several phones and gadgets has made almost everyone a photographer. We can all take pictures on our smartphones and other devices without having to call a photographer.
Yes, this is a good one but the fact is that we cannot compare those pictures taken with our phones or other devices to the pictures taken by a photographer even when we use the same device to take the pictures.
The reason is this because we have different intention before taking the pictures. We only take the pictures to capture the moment and to make fun while the photographer’s intention is quite different. That is his professional job, he wants a good output, he will scan the environment before taking the pictures, and he will sometimes direct the arrangement and postures of his subjects.
The key to any intention is to get really clear on what you want. Most of us don’t even know what we want. We think we do, but do we really know?
When we begin to study our intention before taking actions, we begin to get greater results. It gives us time to think and be purpose driven.
When we think and meditate on our intention, we give more attention to the task at hand.
Intentions reflect both what we hope will happen and what we are planning to do. When we intend for something to happen, as much as it depends on us, we intend to do our part to arrange circumstances and situations to see our intentions come to fruition.
As brief as we can, let us decide today to think on our intention and purpose behind any action and task before we begin.
I wish you all a brilliant week ahead.
Can our thoughts improve our vision?
I walked into a mall some years ago with a senior and junior colleague . We went in to the mall to check out the newly built edifice that was attracting crowd.
We all had comments to make as soon as we got into the mall. My senior colleague who is an engineer commented on the H VAC systems and the structural systems while i commended their customer service representatives and front line staff. The amazing thing was the comment of our junior colleague who was excited about the beautiful ladies in the mall.
I got home and reflected on our comments and i discovered that our vision and utterances depends on our thought and meditation.
We really need to positively invest on our thoughts and meditations as these are pointers to our vision and goals.
If mindsets can change us, maybe we can deliberately choose our mindsets to improve our abilities. We can choose to adopt a mindset that improves creativity.
We need to discover new ways of taking control of our mindsets to improve their well-being and performance, but these resources often go unused and could be better harnessed.” The mind and body are not separate; our thoughts have remarkable control over our bodies; and our mindsets are capable of improving our brains’ performance, sight, goals and vision.

Jon Butcher the author of life book, when asked the simple secret to healthy and slowing down ageing said “Connecting deeply with your purpose to improve self-discipline”
As a musician, If you want to create good music on a stringed instrument, it is necessary to tune the strings first. If you want to excel in life, you have to focus yourself to achieve your purpose. That effort is discipline.
Discipline is a major requirement to attaining success and the least understood word in the world. The purpose of discipline is simply to be able to guide the expressions of the mind. Discipline helps control our emotions and sharpen our focus towards our desired goals.
We know how the mind functions. We know that it becomes easily distracted that it has very strong ideas, emotions, convictions and beliefs.
The role of discipline is to condition the mind so that it is connected with positivity and creativity. Normally we may wish to become positive and creative, but our mental conditioning and emotions does not allow it.
You are encouraged to embrace a disciplined life in your diet, exercise, studies, networking, hobbies and other activities such as religion.

Hello Brilliant and Excellent People,
I like to share with us about the connection between our gift, purpose and destiny.
Each of us have special gifts which is meant to be discovered and improved on.
The first thing you must do to understand your destiny is to recognize the gifts God has given you to use which makes you uniquely you.
These gifts are not for your benefit. God gave you gifts for the benefits of other people.
These gifts can be discovered through your interest and passion which are pointers to your purpose and destiny.
Let’s talk about David who had the gift of music. He worked on his skills and made himself unique in this field. So when Saul the king needed someone to play music for him, David’s skills brought him before the King.
Let us also examine Joseph who had severally work on the gift of interpreting dreams which also brought him before the King.
You are required today to take the following steps:
1. Identify your gifts. (This can be identified by your interests and Passion)
2. Work on improving these gifts daily
3. Identify where you can use these skills not for your own benefits but to be a blessing to others
Give us feedback or contact the BPE team on more details.
Have a Brilliant and Purposed Driven week.
