Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.
Creativity is the generation of ideas that are both original and reliable and imagination is a creative process. This means that the minutest creative processes employ imagination.

What is imagination? It is the ability to create an image, experience or event in the mind without employing our physical senses.

An incredible story is told of a young girl who had speech impediments. Her greatest prayer was to be able to deliver a perfect speech before her friends, family and class mates in school one day. Over the course of three years, as the doctors battled with one surgery after another to correct the impediment, she spent a considerable amount of time imagining that she not only was able to speak but that she also delivered the best speech in the history of the school.
She imagined the rounds of applause, the standing ovation, and the commendations from her teachers. She also imagined the doctor saying to her parents, ‘her fast recovery is very amazing and unexpected.’ When the surgery was over, within a week, she gave the best speech ever heard in the school. She went on to become a national debater and the best public speaker ever.

The key to turning imaginations to reality is to first believe it strongly, then act like it’s true in the present. The body will often move in the direction the mind follows, so if you believe it strongly and think on it from time to time, it becomes your reality. This doesn’t mean that by just sitting in your house and imagining a million dollars, it actually appears at your doorstep. No! This means that, believing it will move you to take necessary actions in making that state your reality.

Think about something or a situation in your life that you can experiment with, a habit you want to change or a lifestyle you want to inculcate. Whatever it is, take a note and write it down. Afterwards, take one hour a day, make it a time you feel relaxed, preferably in the early hours of the day. Sit back, close your eyes and imagine the ideal you, the ideal situation, or the ideal lifestyle. Whatever it is you wrote down, now is the time to really imagine how you want it to be.

Don’t begin to worry about how it’s going to happen, and don’t cloud your mind with doubt that it will happen. Instead focus on getting your mind and your body to agree. As it is said, whatever you can believe, you can become.
Once you have set in motion the power of imagination, creative things actually begin to occur.

The connection
Memories are the building blocks of imagination. To imagine yourself, for example, married with children and a stable career, the brain needs to first have a stored representation of children, of the union between man and woman, of having a job and so forth.  Imagination is made possible by memories because the brain has a foundation from which it builds on to create new ideas and events. Memory is born out of experience, imagination builds on the experience to create something new.
Thinking about events and experiences in the present will have no effect whatsoever on your past, but it can have an effect on your future. Thinking about things in the past can have great benefits because it allows you to learn and apply lessons learnt to future experiences. That being said, imagination is the future.

The zenith
People prefer remembering to imagining. Memory deals with familiar things while

imagination deals with the unknown. Imagination can be frightening. it requires risking a departure from the familiar but it is the future .

We should use our imagination more than we use our memory. We should never stop at familiar things alone, imagination requires launching out into the unknown, and rightly so, because we are able to experience situations we have not experienced in the present. According to Amos Bronson Alcott, Memory marks the horizon of our consciousness, imagination its zenith.

“The epitome of using visualization to create and invent was Nikola Tesla. At an early age Tesla trained his powers of visualization. In his autobiography “My Inventions”, he describes,

“Every night (and sometimes during the day), when alone, I would start out on my journeys – see new places, cities and countries – live there, meet people and make friendships and acquaintances and, however unbelievable, it is a fact that they were just as dear to me as those in actual life and not a bit less intense in their manifestations. “This I did constantly until I was about seventeen when my thoughts turned seriously to invention. Then I observed to my delight that I could visualize with the greatest facility. I needed no models, drawings or experiments. I could picture them all as real in my mind.”

Tesla was a prolific and unparalleled genius, giving us AC electricity, the electric car as well as many other devices, some which have not seen the light of day because they would revolutionize man’s approach to energy.” The Power of Imagination – Enchanted Mind

Shift Position and Change Your Status

Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.
One day, I stepped out of my house to go to work as usual and realised that something remarkable had happened to me. Just last month, I had low energy, low drive to do anything productive and certainly an even lower willingly to go to work. Along the line however, I decided I needed to stop! Not stop, as in, stop going to work but stop, as in enough of the excuses I gave myself to remain at an unproductive inefficient status. I had to do something and what I did is what I want to share today. “SHIFT”

Change they say is the only constant thing in life, this means that, if you or something in your life is not constantly changing and evolving to meet the demands of your responsibilities as a man or a woman, you lose value. To shift your position and change your status isn’t about moving from one title to another or one managerial seat to another, instead, today we’re talking about a shift in your mind-set, a shift in your personal space and a shift in your productivity.

A shift in your mind-set
Before anything remarkable was produce on the outside, it first existed in the mind. To shut down the greatest inventions yet to come then, you first must shut down the mind. We have seen people without hands and some without legs even but with a growth mind-set doing amazing things, likewise, there are countless people walking the face of the earth with complete body part and a limiting mind-set doing absolutely nothing.

The process by which a profound change in the way you process thoughts leads to an entirely new level of effectiveness and points to new directions can be called transformation. It is this sort of transformation, whereby there is a shift in your mind that ultimately leads to success. More than anything, your mind-set is the key.
Erroneous and fixed ideas and thoughts are what causes a decaying mind. When a person’s mind deteriorates to a point where change is no longer appealing to them, you know there can be big problems.

The growth mind-set encourages learning and relearning. Many of the most successful people we celebrate in our world are readers. Opera Winfrey for example is known for her famous ‘Oprah book club’ in 1989 but way before she became the book lover that we all love, she had always been a reader. The one book she admits to changing the course of her life was ‘The Seat of the Soul’ written by Gary Zukav. Like Oprah, books have the power to change the direction of your life by shifting your mind-set to think outside of the box. Books have the ability to inspire you to action. “The books Steve Jobs read, particularly as a teen and college student, helped expose him to the ideas and experiences that would serve as Apple’s foundation years later.” Huffpost

A shift in your personal space
This is in no way advocating for making your personal space more comfortable, on the contrary, a change in your personal space is a call to step out of your comfort zone. Think of something you want to achieve and go for it. Life is about making daring decisions and daring decisions will certainly involve some measure of risk. However, it is those who have done things with high risk that has the greatest level of success.
Some people will never step out and dare themselves unless something or someone comes to disturb their place of comfort. That is I believe that trying times are sometimes good for man. For the most part, it disturbs your resting position and often leads to innovation.

A great level of change can occur once you decide to shift positions and take daring risk. Change in ownership of properties, lands and buildings, change in business ideas and strategies, change in educational status and sometimes managerial status, even change in marital status, but it is important to know that nothing ever happens unless there is a shift.

A shift in productivity
Especially for many young people, mediocrity seem to a way of life. This must never be! Every young person must always look forward to delivering their best, regardless of how far it stretches you. If you are easily encourage to outperform yourself, find someone who can be committed to your growth. A shift in productivity requires something out of the norm, that is, if you are used to doing things one way, find out other ways that work that is faster and more productive. If you dress in a certain way, change your wardrobe and look different, it adds up to your confidence level. If you approach business a certain way, try something new and different. The most important is that it must all add up to an increase in your productivity, at work, in school or at life generally.

Your Network Determines your Net-worth

Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.
“People are like dirt. They can either nourish you and help you grow as a person, or they can stunt your growth and make you wilt and die.” Plato

People have an incredible impact on your life and how far you will go in life. Some people are like parasites, they suck you of all potentials and growth there may ever be. And some people push you forward and encourage you to reach your full potential.

Who you surround yourself with is very crucial to your growth and development.

According to Jim Rohn, you are the average of the five people you spend your time with. This means that, the people you spend most of your time with are a reflection of you, your values, and your vision.
Once you understand the importance of this, it is easier to consciously cultivate healthy and positive relationships.

So, what kinds of people should you surround yourself with?
Image result for coaches and mentors·        Coaches/Mentors: A good coach/mentor helps you measure your performance against your strength instead of against someone else’s. Coaches and Mentors are there to give you professional advice on the situations that you encounter, they give you the tools you need to achieve something monumental with your life. Surrounding yourself with mentor(s) can guarantee a measure of success that you otherwise may not have attained without one. Your coaches or mentors do not have to be people who are out of reach, there are tons of people around you who can guide you against the hurdles of youth, business, career or whatever the need be. Of course, you should chose people who are highly experienced and are willing to share their ideas, people who have a sustained income, who have attained a measure of success that you haven’t and who most of all can inspire you to greater accomplishments.

Decision making is a lot easier when someone who has one through the same thing is able to guide you through yours. Counselors and or Elders are somewhat different from the first point I mentioned above in terms of experience. You should have people like this around you, who from time to time you can simply listen to their story or experience and learn a great deal of wisdom, far more beneficial to you than what you may sometimes learn from professional coaches and mentors.
·        People of like minds: Like-minded people are the push you need to do some if the things that you need to get done sometimes. Surrounding yourself with mediocre people gives you a reason to relax, be calm and be lazy. You hear statement like, “I can’t kill myself”. People who are high achievers, who wants to impact their community, move together. Surrounding yourself with such people puts the spot on you too, in time, you actually begin to make a difference.
·        Influencers: Influences are people who may not have spoken to you at all, you may not even have met them personally, but you have been greatly impacted by their life, their work, their speech or their patriotism. Whatever it is, you need people like this in your space. Great people rub off on you if you have an open heart to learn. Could be the way they walk, the way they talk or even the way they introduce themselves in an event that sets them apart, there will be something you can learn and more that could be the difference in your life as well.
Greatness is a potential in every man, but if you don’t get conscious of your close associations, the ones you spend the most time with, greatness can be history.

You can make the difference

Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,

I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.

On April 2nd, the BPE team of Solomon’s Empire had the First team building activity for the year 2018. It was fantastic! But more importantly, it was highly informative. There was a lot of talk on learning, on value and on impact that last.

Today however, I want to share with you some of the thoughts shared at that meeting which I believe will be of immense benefit to you.

·         Purpose: it is important to find purpose in whatever you put yourself to do. Whatever is worth your time should also be worth find out why and what. Why you have to be a part of it? What the purpose of that thing is in proportion to your life goals? A man once said, when the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. In order not to abuse the opportunities in our life, or throw away the life changing options life presents, it is absolutely important to first find out purpose, then, you will also be able to define the kind of relationships that come into your life, the kind of places or associations you keep, and a lot more. Life makes more sense then!

·         Young people and the power of change: perhaps the largest group of all time in history possessing the power of change are young people. They are creative, passionate and certainly have the strength to push through in difficult times. Young people also have the zeal to learn and can easily unlearn threatening behaviours.

·         The power of observation and documentation: the greatest force of the universe is observing and documenting. A powerful case study is King Solomon of the Bible, he wasn’t a man given to spectacular actions but he is considered a very wise man and at the top of his wisdom was his ability to document events throughout his lifetime that challenges every area of life even till this modern day. Needless to say, the lessons shared in his documents have real life application in almost every human endeavour upon the earth. In the same way, by taking extra effort to observe and document the events, experiences, facts and truths that happens, not necessarily in our own life, but in the world at large, we could be giving the next generation a bridge/ strategy to live their life to the fullest.

·         Life is about growing and making impact: it is not about making impact first and not growing, it’s about growing first and making impact next because like the popular cliché goes, you can’t give what you don’t have, can you? The cycle then continues, you grow in character, knowledge, strength, and poise then you impact your group, school, community or world as the case may be. And every time you do that, you add one more virtue to yourself.

·         Finally, the important of volunteerism: there is so much need in the world right now, most of which boils down to young people. Lack of knowledge, information, infrastructure, education or resources leads to bad decisions, the result of which we see in violence, teenage pregnancies, robbery, cyber-crime and the likes. For the most part, you have what it takes to change another individual’s life, whether it be your time, your wisdom, your experiences or your resources. When you join like-minded young people in an organised youth group, the multiplication effect of such can be very life changing. One of such organisation is Solomon’s Empire, where you can actually as an individual along with your team members begin to effect positive changes in your community.

The list is endless and the information shared at this meeting was priceless, these are just nuggets. To be a member of the BPE team of Solomon’s Empire, kindly send a mail to
